With February almost at a close and spring flowers starting to appear, your thoughts may be turning to Easter and Easter Holidays. Easter can be a great time of year with more sunshine appearing and bright spring flowers brightening up the landscape. What better time of year to enjoy a rural retreat or country cottage break than during Easter. Many country places are much less busy in Easter than during peak summer holiday period. Enjoy rural pursuits without the crowds. Whether you enjoy walking, cycling or sightseeing, Easter can be a good time for a break. Remember though to pack your wellies as the Great British weather can be unpredictable at best. If you are a member of the National Trust or English Heritage there are so many interesting country houses and gardens to visit throughout the UK. Whatever you plan to do on your country break, have a wonderful time.
